International Women’s Day: Café Femenino

In honor of International Women’s Day, we would like extend a sincere thank you to our partners at Café Femenino. With their hard work and dedication, Marilyn, [President of the Café Femenino Foundation], Connie [Café Femenino Director], and team have allowed us to truly make a difference in the community. In 2003, 464 women farmers in northern Peru decided to change the industry dynamic. For those who may not be familiar, we are thrilled to introduce you to this wonderful cause.The Café Femenino coffee program is committed to:

• ending the cycle of poverty afflicting women coffee farmers across the world.
• providing direct compensation to women farmers.
• providing resources to enact positive change in their communities.
